Jamie Foxx to Sing National Anthem

Jamie Foxx is set to perform the Star Spangled Banner at the Mayweather vs Pacquiao boxing match! Now, clearly, I’m no huge boxing fan by any means. I leave that to the men, however I AM in fact a Jamie Foxx fan. I love the new stuff, but come on I’m an 80s baby so I loved that Infatuation album he did!

This song right here is what I lived for my senior year in high school! I became a fan of him and his work both on the big screen and behind the keyboard. So be on the lookout for this phenomenal artist doing what he does best! Entertain!

Love Always,

BiBi

#MCM Lenny Harold- You

I would love to say I stumbled upon a musical gem, but that would be a lie. I actually know this awesome singer, songwriter, photographer the list goes on and on. I prefer to call him a visionary! With a falsetto that will bring you to your knees, he uses his extraordinary vocal performance and presence right to your speaker.

In his new song, You, he sings you the feeling inside the song. He is telling his true love that nothing would matter without you! That is what makes him my #MCM! His single is available at all major retailers and make sure you request it at your local radio stations! Watch below for the audio video:

DIY Kinky Twist

So I love braids, twists, and locs! I have never had locs, but they’ve always been so pretty to me especially when they have a splash of color. I have natural hair so I love to experiment with new styles. The great thing about being natural is protective styling! A protective style is usually a style that keep the ends of your hair from damage. I typically use Couture Tresses by BiBi bundles to achieve the best protective style.

Cheers to silly faces! However, this time I chose to install kinky twist. They were initially going to be Havana twist, but I got caught up in a web series and made my parts too small. But fret not, they’re still cute!

1: Fluff, moisturize, and prepare your Afro 2: Install kinky twist with your favorite kinky synthetic hair (I used Cuban Marley Twist) 3: Choose your sealing method (to seal means to make sure the twist don’t unravel) I chose dropping Bantu knots 4: Style.

I hope you all enjoyed the curly, kinky talk! Til Next time

CHEF BIBI- How To Sautee Chicken and Veggies

If you’re a mom, like myself, you want to always prepare something that the children will love! Since I’m a no mess kind of mom, I use paper plates so my boys can just toss their plates when they are done. However, today I am just showing you a quick way to sautée your chicken and vegetables to optimize the taste! We were making fajitas so we decided to make our own rub.

Make sure you prep your chicken by cleaning with water and a little lemon juice for freshness. Also, make sure to season chicken thoroughly with adobo, salt, pepper, and chili powder. Make sure you slice your onions and peppers thinly to make presentation prettier. Add about a tablespoon of oil, I used grapeseed, to coat the pan. Add chicken and veggies immediately to the oil and the mixture will cook down. The chicken and vegetables begin to create their own juices bringing all the flavors together. Now if you’re eating fajitas, here is a rub that I came up with that you may enjoy.

BiBi’s Fajita Seasoning

1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
